About IFWY
The International Forum We, the Youth (IFWY) represents a bold and new model of youth engagement for
social change. IFWY reimagines both the process—with a participatory and bottom-up approach to selecting youth
representatives—and the format, blending policy dialogue with powerful cultural expressions to create
a dynamic and inclusive space.
More than a platform for dialogue, IFWY is a rallying call to action—an annual gathering that mobilizes resources,
knowledge, and collective energy to drive meaningful transformation. With a strong emphasis on reshaping mindsets,
behaviors, and systems, the Forum tackles urgent global challenges across themes such as peace, equality,
environmental sustainability, solidarity, technology, democracy, and inclusive development.
IFWY’s key objectives are to
-
Empower youth to lead
and implement real-world
change -
Ensure representation
from diverse and
underrepresented communities -
Harness cultural
engagement for solidarity
and action -
Co-create practical,
actionable strategies
that leave a lasting impact
By uniting policy with culture and global agendas with grassroots voices, IFWY offers a transformative model for
global cooperation and sustainable development—shaped by youth.
